Today’s prompt: Write about a memory you wish you could step back into briefly.
I wish I could drive my 2008 Honda Civic SI again. I’d take it on a road trip across the country, turn up the music, and just drive. It was a great car to drive.
I wouldn’t mind not having all the screens, cameras, and sensors that our current car has. Our previous car was the first car with a screen and backup camera. I’d love the experience of driving again, of having to be aware and in control because there aren’t any warnings.
I miss enjoying driving.
