Today’s prompt: What part of you hides in shadow — and what might it want you to notice?
I wish I were better at taking risks. When I take a risk, it’s like running out on to hot sand during a midday sun. Instead of enjoying a day at the beach, I’m worried about a sunburn. So, I keep it under the umbrella as much as possible. The umbrella, however, is rooted into the ground so as not be to be blown over by a gust of wind.
